GREEN CLIMATE BRITAIN
The Renewable Energy Partnership is the Membership Organisation for Public & Private Organisations
Supplying Green Climate Products & Specialist Services for Britain’s Future Generations.
Climate Change -“Its in our own hands”
Climate change is often treated as a political issue, but it shouldn’t be.
The facts are the climate of our planet is changing at a pace unlike anything seen in the natural fluctuations traced across geological records, and scientists have overwhelmingly traced this global warming trend to human activity.
- Global temperature rise
- Warming oceans
- Shrinking ice sheets
- Glacial retreat
- Decreased snow cover
- Sea level rise
- Declining Arctic sea ice
- Extreme events
- Ocean acidification
The No.1 Global Challenge
The Earth’s average land temperature has warmed nearly 1°C in the past 50 years as a result of human activity, global greenhouse gas emissions have grown by nearly 80% since 1970, and atmospheric concentrations of the major greenhouse gases are at their highest level in 800,000 years.

Accord de Paris
September 2017 – Scientists make the link between climate change and droughts in Kenya, record winter sun in Britain and torrential downpours in south-west China.
Green Climate Britain
We are looking to build Green Climate Britain for our Future Generations by helping Britain to reduce its carbon emissions, become more resource efficient and by reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and the impact they have on our environment.
To bring together Green focused businesses on one Professional Platform making it easier for Customers to find the right organisation to help them move from CARBON to GREEN. We also plan to include information and regular updates about Britain’s move towards a Green Climate Britain.
To build a Green Climate Britain for our Future Generations through a combination of goals: Renewable Britain, Energy Saving Britain, Low Carbon Britain, Clean Air & Energy Britain.
Green Climate Challenge
Changing Carbon Britain into a Green Climate Britain is a challenge and we fully appreciate that there are many elements associated with Britain meeting its Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Carbon Footprint Targets.
Clean Air Britain
We want people to breathe Clean Air and use Clean Energy – Air that has no harmful levels of pollutants ( dirt and chemicals) in it. Our supporters are at the forefront of technology research and development to reduce the dirt & chemical pollution of our climate.
Low Carbon Britain
The Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) is a mandatory emissions-reduction standard in the UK. CRC aims for a carbon reduction of 1.2 million tonnes by 2020 and an 80% cut in carbon emissions by 2050. With the exception of transportation fuels, CRC covers all forms of energy, including electricity, gas, fuel and oil.
Renewable & Sustainable Energy from a source that is not depleted when used, such as solar, wind & water power which deliver environmental benefits of renewable energy and Clean Energy.
Clean Energy Britain
We are looking to promote UK Energy Companies who provide Clean Energy so customers are getting the right Clean Energy deal for them and reducing their carbon footprint. If you would like further information please click on the IMAGE

Energy Efficient Britain
Green technology whose use is intended to mitigate or reverse the effects of human activity on the environment the use of green technology and renewable energy is an integral part of Green Climate Britain campaign to reduce CO2 emissions.
Batteries & EV Technology
Battery technology will be a major factor in the growth of Renewable Energy sources. Electric cars now represent a viable from of transport for a lot of people thanks to ongoing leaps in battery technology. Electric cars today combine increased range with super-low running costs and innovative tech.
EV Powertrain and Battery Pack – A step in the right direction.
Energy Storage – Smart Tech – Smart Systems
Storage of electrical energy is generally a complex and expensive challenge. New and improved solutions are required to balance the evolving supply of and demand for energy across applications including automotive, manufacturing and grid. As demands continue to change and grow, suppliers and manufacturers will be expected to manage and improve infrastructure and technology solutions to keep pace.

Green & Sustainable Buildings
Green building (also known as green construction or sustainable building) refers to both a structure and the application of processes that are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout a building’s life-cycle: from planning to design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation, and demolition.
GLA – Greater London Authority
The facts: London’s toxic air is a health crisis !
9,000+ Londoners are dying early every year as a result of toxic air.
Air quality is especially poor in inner London.
40% of air pollution comes from diesel vehicles 10% comes from other types of road transport.
6 million car journeys are made by Londoners every day.
60% of all journeys are for shopping, leisure or personal business.

For Britain’s Future Generations
Sir David Attenborough
“The Truth is: the natural world is changing and we are totally dependent on that world. It provides our Food, Water and Air. It’s the most precious thing we have and we need to defend it”.
A Green Britain is a Great Britain
Green Economy – Green Brexit
Britain’s Green Economy out of Necessity and legislation, will grow considerably in the future. Renewable Energy, Sustainable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Low Carbon & Clean Air markets will see greater numbers of Companies entering this sector.
Smarter Power Systems
Major changes to the way electricity is produced, used and stored will result in Smarter Power Systems. Renewable Energy technology today will benefit from advances in Storage of the resources generated. Places such as Warwick University Energy Innovation Centre is a national facility for battery research across the R&D process from materials and electrochemistry through to application integration and recycling / re-use. Their facilities support test, development and scale up of new battery chemistries from concept through to full proven traction batteries, produced in sufficient quantities for detailed industrial evaluation in target applications.
Large scale electricity storage (CEAS) Compressed Air Energy Storage.
New Technology – Patent pending
Large scale electricity storage – Storelectric is developing (CAES) Compressed Air Energy Storage in the UK, to store many gigawatt-hours’ worth of electricity in order to make renewable energy more useful and profitable, costing ~1/10 the cost per GWh of pumped hydro-electric storage, in more useful locations and without major environmental impact.
Smart Technology will increasingly grow, changing our lives and improving our efficiency. Smart tech includes physical and logical applications in all formats that are capable to adapt automatically and modify behaviour to fit the environment. Technologies that allow sensors, databases, and wireless access to collaboratively sense, adapt, and provide for users within their environment.

The Future of Rural Energy in Britain
Many homes and businesses in our Rural Communities are off-grid and have little option in choosing high-polluting energy sources, such as coal, heating oil or wood.
They have a higher carbon footprint than they need to and often higher, per person, than their urban contemporaries, this is an opportunity for Rural Communities to embrace Renewable Energy.
For our Future Generations
Accord de Paris Conclusion
“Paris is just the starting gun for the race towards a low-carbon future,” says WWF-UK Chief Executive David Nussbaum.
Prof John Shepherd of the National Oceanography Centre, University of Southampton, says “the agreement includes some welcome aspirations but few people realise how difficult it will be to achieve the goals. Since the only mechanism remains voluntary national caps on emissions, without even any guidance on how stringent those caps would need to be, it is hard to be optimistic that these goals are likely to be achieved.”
